Silk & Spice Red Blend 750ML Glass Bottle. Grapes grown in Portugal are harvested by variety. Upon arrival at the winery the grapes are destemmed and moved to fermentation vats. Fermentation at around 8 days. The end product is an intense, deep ruby color wine with flavors of cooked black fruits, vanilla and hints of mocha. Excellent balance of tannins and acidity with a long, smooth finish. The balanced profile of this wine and the easy tasting it provides makes it suitable to be enjoyed while dining outside. It is also wonderful when paired with grilled meat and cheeseburgers. Silk & Spice adds new significance to the famous 16th century trade route between Europe and Asia. The 'Spice Route' was created by Portuguese explorers in 1498. It brought the Western World exciting new flavors such as nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and pepper.
